Today's episode: apple_blossom Better really late than never. More than a year ago elewiezen requested me to look up Apple Blossom. I still had a note sitting in my Inbox to make an LJ-post about this, so yeah ... here it is finally. Where exactly I ran into Ineke, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure it was Björk-related. Bumped into each other on various forums even met up once in Rotterdam, but slowly slipped out of view. Eventually her LJ was deleted and that was it. So where did she go? A year ago, I already pointed elewiezen to her her new web-log, which was last updated in May this year. She's become a film-maker and as such was involved in making the film Hagelslag. She's been on tour with the band Trike, documenting them. At the moment she's studying again, from what I can tell. Philosophy to be exact. pumpkin harvest [01 Nov 2009|10:13pm] lucers We bought the orange pumpkin from a nearby farm, but the rest I grew myself. I think the big one is called 'Queensland Blue' and the two others are called 'Crown Prince'. Both are supposed to have really good flavour. Total weight this year was 7.25 kg. Here's the pumpkin at night. & the halloweenies. About 25 kids visited this year, which was way more than expected! I nearly ran out of lollies. Keys (6)share

kitty? [01 Nov 2009|12:20pm] joyang I've been wanting to get a cat for about a year now. If I had a bigger place and was able to stay at home more I'd ideally want two dobermans. However, I live in a condo and have a day-job so getting a cat seems like the best option (not that it's a second and lesser option! I'd still get a cat if I had 2 dogs). I've always had a soft spot for exotic shorthairs so I did some research and it seems like they're a really good pet to have for condo-dwellers. Not to mention that they're the cutest cats in the world: Keys (10)share
